Innotrends è un brand molto giovane; l’organizzazione è stata fondata all’inizio del 2011, ha sede ad Hong kong e si occupa di sistemi car di infotainment e di tutto ciò che è strettamente legato alla tecnologia in auto. Vi chiederete perchè ne parliamo ed il motivo è presto svelato. Innotrends ha creato una linea chiamata Ca-Fi (acronimo di Car Hi-Fi) basata interamente sul Android; tutti i modelli sono caratterizzati da grandi display touchscreen 800×480 che mostrano il meteo, la navigazione GPS e tutte le informazioni delle Gapps. Permettono la riproduzione streaming di musica e video e, ovviamente, di gestire la parte telefonica in sicurezza grazie ai comandi vocali che permettono di inoltrare chiamate o dettare messaggi ed e-mail. Grazie alla connessione 3G si può essere sempre connessi e sfruttare il sistema come punto di accesso alla rete; per questioni di sicurezza alcune funzioni non sono utilizzabili durante la guida. Alcune features possono funzionare in accoppiata con uno smartphone Android ma per il 95% delle sue funzioni il sistema è completamente autonomo. La casa ha già prodotto impianti per equipaggiare i modelli americani di Mazda, VW, Honda, Chevrolet, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai e Kia (questi ultimi sono marchi molto diffusi negli States). Chissà se arriveranno mai anche da noi.

You may wonder why we talk about it and the reason it is soon revealed. Innotrends has created a line called Ca-Fi (short for Car Hi-Fi) based entirely on Android OS; all models are characterized by large 800×480 touchscreen display that shows weather, GPS navigation and all information of GAPPS. Allow music and video streaming playback and, of course, manage the phone safely thanks to the voice commands that allow to forward calls or dictate messages and e-mail. Thanks 3G dongle you can stay connected and take advantage of the system as a network access; for security some functions can not be used while driving. Some features may work in tandem with an Android smartphone, but for 95% of its functions, the system is completely autonomous. The house has already produced systems to equip the American models of Mazda, VW, Honda, Chevrolet, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai and Kia (the latter are very popular brand in the States). Who knows if they will arrive to us too.
