Nelle ultime settimane le chiacchere relative all’aggiornamento ad Ice Cream Sandwich del Sony Xperia Play hanno viaggiato sul web come un vagoncino delle montagne russe, alternandosi fra altezze vertiginose (ICS) e discese in picchiata (no ICS). Oggi arriva la conferma ufficiale di Sony: nessun aggiornamento e morte del dispositivo per “Gingerbreadite” incurabile. La motivazione ufficiale di Sony è che l’aggiornamento potrebbe procurare problemi di stabilità 
Nessun problema, invece, per gli altri terminali della serie Xperia che entro l’anno saranno tutti aggiornati. Curioso il fatto che Xperia S, che dovrebbe essere il prodotto di punta della serie, non vedrà Ice Cream Sandwich prima della fine del mese di Giugno.
Now it is official: no ICS for Sony Xperia Play
In last weeks chats about Sony Xperia Play Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade have traveled on the web as a wagon of a roller coaster, alternating between giddy heights (ICS) and deep falls (no ICS). Today comes the official confirmation from Sony: no update and death of the device for incurable “Gingerbreaditis”. The official statement from Sony is that the update could cause stability problems 😆 No problem, however, for the other Xperia terminals series that by the year they will all be updated. Curiously that Xperia S, which should be the flagship of the series, won’t see Ice Cream Sandwich before the end of June.
