Odin Mobile, il flash delle ROM direttamente dal dispositivo

Ecco una delle cose che rende Android non solo il semplice utilizzo di un sistema operativo ma una vera e propria esperienza d’uso completa in tutti i suoi aspetti, anche quelli più ludici (leggi “smanettamento”). Il nostro “developer” Antonio Mistretta ed un altro utente a cui chiedo scusa perchè non mi ricordo più il nome, ci segnalano che Chainfire, noto sviluppatore, ha rilasciato la versione “Mobile” della sua famosa applicazione Odin che, come tutti gli appassionati sanno, serve ad aggiornare il proprio dispositivo Samsung liberandosi dall’attesa degli update ufficiali. Con questa versione ci libereremo anche dalla necessità di connettersi al PC perchè basterà salvare la ROM da flashare sulla SD del dispositivo ed avviare il tutto direttamente dal telefono. Esistono due versione di Odin Mobile: QUESTA disponibile a pagamento sul Market, completa di tutte le opzioni, e QUESTA, definita Lite, scaricabile da XDA. Per ora l’applicazione funziona solo sul Galaxy S2 e sul nuovissimo Galaxy Note ma siamo sicuri che lo sviluppatore non tarderà ad adattarlo agli altri dispositivi Samsung.

This is one of the things that makes Android not only an OS simple use but a real user experience complete in all its aspects, even the most playful (read “hack”). Our “developer” Antonio Mistretta and another user who I apologize with because I do not remember the name, report us that Chainfire, known developer, has released the “Mobile” application of his famous Odin that, like all the fans know, it needs to update your device without expectation of  Samsung official updates. With this release we will be free by the need to connect to the PC because it will be necessary just save  the ROM to flash on the device’s SD and start all from your phone. There are two version of Odin Mobile: THIS available for a fee on the market, complete with all the options, and THIS, called Lite, downloadable from XDA. For now the application only works on the new Galaxy Galaxy S2 and Note, but we are sure that the developer will not take long to adapt to other Samsung devices.
