Vi starete chiedendo il perchè di questa immagine in un articolo dove si parla di Adobe Flash Player… Il tempo di un preambolo ed arriva la risposta; qualche giorno fa il nostro carissimo Roberto (aka rf74) ci informava della decisione insindacabile di Adobe di abbandonare lo sviluppo del suo famoso Flash Player, il sistema più utilizzato per la riproduzione dei filmati in ambito Internet (ma non solo, ovviamente). Si confermerebbe l’orientamento generale che vede il sistema HTML5, sempre “spinto” da Apple, come quello destinato ad affermarsi in futuro; a tal proposito non è ancora chiaro se il nuovissimo Galaxy Nexus, summa della GE, sia dotato della possibilità di riprodurre il video in Flash, come riportato da diversi rumors che seguono l’arrivo dei primi esemplari sul mercato. Per andare incontro agli sviluppatori Google ha rilasciato, ancora in fase beta, Google Swift, un tool da considerarsi come un’estensione dell’SDK, che permetterà ai developers di continuare lo sviluppo in Flash e di poter convertire solo alla fine in HTML5. Non è escluso che Google inserisca tale convertitore permanentemente di Ice Cream Sandwich in modo da risolvere il problema alla radice per gli utenti finali: noi.
Google Swift, to resolve Flash Player abandon problem
You may be asking why this picture in an article where we talk about Adobe Flash Player … Time of a preamble and the response arrives; few days ago our dear Roberto (aka rf74) informed us of the final decision of Adobe to abandon development of its popular Flash Player, the most commonly used system for playing movies in the Internet (but not only, obviously). It confirms the general approach that sees the system HTML5, always “pushed” by Apple, such as the one destined to become in the future; in this regard is not yet clear whether the new Galaxy Nexus sum of GE, to be given the opportunity to play the video in Flash, as reported by several rumors that followed the arrival of the first models on the market. To meet developers Google has released, still in beta, Google Swift, a tool to be considered as an extension of the SDK, allowing developers to continue developing in Flash and to convert at last step in HTML5. It is possible that Google inserts the converter permanently on Ice Cream Sandwich in order to solve the problem for final users: us.
