Come tradizione vuole, prima di ogni importante manifestazione, ci sono sempre rumors ed anticipazioni e qualche volta anche degli annunci ufficiali: ieri Lenovo ha rilasciato un comunicato in cui annuncia l’arrivo della prima TV Android basata sull’ultima versione dell’OS di big G, la K91 Smart TV. Basata su sistema dual-core Snapdragon 8060, questa tv dovrebbe integrare una webcam da 5MP per videochat e un pannello display full HD IPS 240hz da 55″ corredato un impianto audio con SRS TruSurround, dunque specifiche di tutto rispetto a cui vanno sommate le features software (con una probabile personalizzazione pesante dell’Os Android) che sembrano promettere molto:
- Video on Demand
- Internet applications
- Traditional TV programs
- Access to the Android Market
- Access to the Lenovo Store
- Voice control
- Cloud support
Secondo il produttore asiatico, il rilascio dovrebbe avvenire entro Aprile di quest’anno in quel di Cina per poi proseguire in altri paesi. Lenovo va così ad aggiungersi alla lista dei produttori di android tv che dovrebbero svelare qualcosa nei prossimi giorni, ma questo sembra essere un annuncio del tutto inatteso!

K91—the World’s First Smart TV to Run Android 4.0 OS
