La nostra splendida Principessa Roy, qualche giorno fa, ci ha informati della notizia che HTC ha diramato gli inviti per una conferenza che si terrà a Barcellona il 26 Febbraio, giorno antecedente l’apertura ufficiale del MWC 2012 e che ci vedrà presenti per informarvi su tutte le novità che saranno presentate. In questa occasione HTC potrebbe presentare il Ville, primo dispositivo quad-core della sua produzione. Insieme al telefono potrebbe debuttare la versione 4.0 della Sense, l’interfaccia che si è imposta come una delle migliori nel panorama Android. Gli amici di PocketNow hanno avuto la possibilità di provarla in anteprima e ci riportano le loro impressioni, quasi tutte positive. La prima novità sarà la modalità landscape anche per la homescreen con i tasti che (come già per la versione attuale) si posizioneranno sulla destra in modo da lasciare libera una più ampia porzione di display; per lo stesso motivo HTC manterrà i tasti fisici, che saranno tre invece che quattro, sulla sua versione di Ice Cream Sandwich. Il multitasking permetterà la visualizzazione 3D delle applicazioni aperte; nella lockscreen sarà possibile visualizzare le notifiche, i contatti preferiti, la task list ed accedere alla zona notifiche senza sbloccare il terminale. La gestione delle mail è stata migliorata tanto da essere definita la migliore mai visto su un dispositivo Android; la sincronizzazione con un server Exchange sarà gestita in modo da garantire un notevole risparmio della batteria rispetto ad ora. Nuove possibilità sono previste per il Browser come il nuovo Reader simile a quello di iOS; una funzione molto interessante è la Guest Mode che permetterà di bloccare la parte telefonoca ed alcune funzioni a scelta del proprietario quando dovesse prestare il proprio telefono a terze persone. Prevista l’integrazione con DropBox, nuove funzioni della fotocamera e l’integrazione della tecnologia BeatsAudio con applicazioni di terze parti come Pandora. Un bel menù, non pensate? First impressions on HTC Sense UI 4.0
Our beautiful Princess Roy, a few days ago, informed us of the news that HTC has sent out invitations for a conference that will be held in Barcelona February 26th, the day before 2012 MWC opening day and we will be there to inform you about all the news. Multitasking allows 3D visualization of open applications; it will be possible to see on the lockscreen notifications, favorite contacts, task list and to access the notification area without unlocking the device. The mail management has been improved enough to bedefined the best ever seen on an Android device; synchronization with an Exchange server will be managed to ensure less battery drain than now. New features are planned for the browser like the new Reader similar to that of iOS; a very interesting function is the Guest Mode that allow to block phone features and certain functions chosen by the owner when he should give the phone to other people. Planned integration with DropBox, new camera functions and the integration of BeatsAudio technology with third party applications like Pandora. A fine menu, don’t you think?
