Proprio un paio di giorni fa LG ha rilasciato il primo video ufficiale del Vu, dispositivo dal design quanto meno insolito e dall’ancor più strano aspetto 4:3. Oggi possiamo vederlo nella prima immagine, un po’ sfocata per la verità, che lo ritrae affiancato ad un Galaxy Note e che ci permette di valutarne le reali dimensioni. Come molti di voi hanno commentato, a prima vista non sembra essere un dispositivo molto ergonomico ma, ovviamente, è il caso di aspettare un contatto reale per esserne sicuri. Vorrei farvi notare una cosa che denota come, ormai, la monotonia e l’apatia abbia colpito tutti i designer delle case più importanti: il dock assolutamente identico per la forma e la disposizione delle icone. Capisco che ci voglia un po’ di uniformità se si utilizza lo stesso sistema operativo (e trattandosi di LG non ci sono dubbi che sia lo stesso Gingerbread del Note) ma è proprio così difficile distinguersi un po’?
LG Vu, first shot
Just a couple of days ago, LG has released the first official video of the Vu, device with a design even more unusual and too much strange 4:3 aspect ratio. Today we can see it in the first image, a little bit blurry to the truth, that shows it paired up with a Galaxy Note and that allows us to assess the real size. How many of you have commented, it doesn’t seem to be a very ergonomic device but, of course, is the case of waiting for a real contact to be sure. I would point out something that denotes how, by now, the monotony and apathy hits all major brand designers: the dock absolutely identical to the shape and placement of icons. I understand that it takes a bit of uniformity when the same operating system (and since there is no doubt that LG is the same as the Gingerbread notes) is used, but it’s so hard to stand out a bit?
