Qualche settimana fa, non senza qualche risolino di scherno in verità, parlai per la prima volta del Sony Xperia Sola, misterioso dispositivo del quale non si sapeva nulla se non che la casa nipponica ne aveva registrato il nome. Oggi è stato ufficialmente annunciato anche in Italia con il nome di Xperia Sole e le sue caratteristiche tecniche sono state svelate e potrete scoprirle cliccando sul link. La caratteristica più interessante, ed unica per quello che io ne sappia, è il nuovo display definito “floating touch” che garantirebbe un’esperienza d’uso completamente nuova permettendo di usare le dita come un cursore quando si naviga sul web oppure di interagire tranquillamente con il display anche quando si indossano i guanti.

Sony Xperia Sola, first hands-on
A few weeks ago, not without a smile of derision in truth, I spoke for the first time of the Sony Xperia Sola, the mysterious device which nothing was known except that nippon house had registered the name. Today was officially announced in Italy under the name of Xperia Sole and its technical characteristics have been revealed and you can discover them by clicking on the link. The most interesting feature, and unique for what I know, is the new display called “floating touch” that would provide a completely new user experience allowing you to use your finger as a cursor when browsing the web or to interact peacefully with the display even when wearing gloves.
