Nelle ultime settimane abbiamo assistito alla presentazione di numerosi tablet con Ice Cream Sandwich e come, con le apposite dock, possano trasformarsi in veri e propri notebook dei quali il Transformer di Asus è sicuramente l’esempio migliore. Ma se Ice Cream Sandwich fosse disponibile anche su un vero computer? Vi piacerebbe? E’ proprio quello che un gruppo di sviluppatori ha fatto: creare una build di ICS da far funzionare su un netbook, un Asus EeePC X101Ch per la precisione. Ovviamente non è un sistema operativo che si possa usare normalmente ma gli sviluppatori stanno lavorando duramente per garantire il supporto a display esterni, il pieno supporto alla connessione Ethernet ed a tutte le applicazioni. Intanto il nuovo Google Play e YouTube sembrano funzionare a dovere. La sfida è lanciata!

In recent weeks we have witnessed the presentation of numerous tablets with Ice Cream Sandwich and how, with the appropriate dock, they can be transformed into real notebook of which the Asus Transformer is surely the best example. But if Ice Cream Sandwich shoul be also available on a real computer? How would you like? It ‘s just what a group of developers has done: to create an ICS build to operate on a netbook, an Asus EeePC X101Ch for accuracy. Obviously it is not an operating system that you can use it normally, but the developers are working hard to ensure support for external displays, the full Ethernet and all applications support. Meanwhile, the new Google Play and YouTube seem to work properly. The challenge is launched!
