Alla presentazione del Lumia 610 è stata grande la sorpresa nello scoprire che Nokia ha incluso la funzione di tethering sul nuovo dispositivo Windows Phone, stessa funzione che invece non è prevista sui cugini maggiori Lumia 710 e 800. Nokia ha promesso che la funzione sarà implementata con un aggiornamento software che sarà rilasciato a breve via Zune; la risposta è stata data ad un utente che aveva posto la domanda sul Nokia Connect. Non è chiaro se si tratterà del solo tethering via cavo o se Nokia ha previsto anche la sempre più utile funzione hot-spot per creare il proprio punto Wi-fi. L’aggiornamento dovrebbe arrivare quando i Lumia 900 e 610 saranno disponibili negli stores.
Nokia will make tethering available on Lumia 710 and 800 too
At the presentation of Lumia 610 was great the surprise to find that Nokia has included tethering function on the new Windows Phone device, same function that it is not expected on bigger cousins Lumia 710 and 800. Nokia has promised that the function will be implemented with a software update that will be released shortly via Zune; the answer was given to a member who asked the question on the Nokia Connect. It is unclear if it will be the via cable tethering or if Nokia has also included the more useful hot-spot for creating own Wi-Fi point. The update should arrive when the Lumia 900 and 610 will be available in stores.
