Sono state tra le caratteristiche SW più enfatizzate durante la presentazione del Galaxy S4 della scorsa settimana a New York; parliamo dello “Smart Pause” e dello “Smart Scroll” che permettono, rispettivamente, di mettere in pausa un video semplicemente distogliendo lo sguardo dal display dello smartphone e di riavviarlo quando la fotocamera rileva che si sta nuovamente guardando lo schermo e di scorrere le pagine spostando lo sguardo in alto/basso. Ebbene, sembra che i sistemi violino una tecnologia LG brevettata nel 2009 che si chiama “smart video” e che la casa sta per lanciare con un aggiornamento “value pack update” sul suo Optimus G Pro e sugli altri dispositivi high end. LG avrebbe brevettato anche “Eye Scroll”, guarda caso del tutto simile allo “Smart Scroll” di Samsung la quale dichiara, invece, di aver sviluppato in proprio i due sistemi; i vertici di LG si riservano di verificare l’eventuale violazione nel momento in cui il Galaxy S4 sarà disponibile sui mercati.
