LG ha annunciato ufficialmente la versione bianca del Nexus 4 che sarà disponibile a partire dal prossimo 10 Giugno; a parte il colore nessuna differenza sostanziale rispetto alla versione attualmente in vendita. Hanno destato sorpresa le parole del vice presidente della sezione europea del brand, Kim Won, il quale ha dichiarato che LG non produrrà il prossimo Nexus in quanto non sarebbe fondamentale per il successo ed il profitto commerciale della casa, nonostante il successo del Nexus 4 e gli iniziali problemi di produzione. Kim Won ha aggiunto che non è prevista una versione Google Edition dei prossimi dispositivi, sulle orme di Samsung e HTC, in quanto non aggiungerebbe nulla al valore del prodotto e LG preferisce concentrarsi sullo sviluppo della sua UI. Nonostante la decisione i rapporti con Google restano di ottimo livello.
LG presents white Nexus 4 and announces that they won’t produce next Nexus 5
LG has officially announced the white version of the Nexus 4 which will be available from next June 10th; apart from the color no substantial differences respect to the currently shipping version. Have aroused surprise the words of Vice President of the European section of the brand, Kim Won, who said that LG will not produce the next Nexus because it wouldn’t be so important to the success and commercial profitability for the house, despite the success of the Nexus 4 and its initial production problems. Kim Won added that there is not provided a Google Edition version of the next device, following Samsung and HTC footsteps, because it doesn’t add anything to the value of the product and LG prefers to focus on the development of its UI. Despite the decision, the relationship with Google remains excellent.
